FAQ
What activities will we be doing?
Activities include a high ropes course, archery, painting with Mandy Stobo, cooking classes with Julie Van Rosendaal, an escape room, yoga, hiking, games, campfire songs and more. We’ll be sending out a link to sign up for events in late May.
What about food allergies?
The camp kitchen can accommodate gluten, dairy and nut allergies. We will be sending out a form to gather more information and can ensure we meet your requests.
Where is Camp Kindle?
Located in the picturesque Rocky Mountain Foothills, just outside of Water Valley, Alberta, Camp Kindle offers 160 acres of rolling hills, forest and waterways. We'll send a map out with directios before the Jamboree.
What time is check in?
Check in starts at 4pm Friday, and dinner is at 6:00pm. No rush if you’re running late. We’ll be waiting patiently for your arrival.
Who will I be bunking with?
We’ll be sending a camp information form out to find out who your bunk mates are. If you are coming solo, we'll put you in a bunk with some other amazing single campers. Camp friends are the best friends.
What should I pack?
We’ll be sending a packing list in May, which will include what clothing, toiletries and camp items you’ll want to bring. You’ll want to make sure you have a good sleeping bag, and perhaps a pair of ear plugs too.
What does camp include?
Your Jamboree ticket includes all your food, snacks, activities and booze when the bar is open.
You’re welcome to bring some additional beverages for your room as well as snacks - just as long as they are nut-free.
Anything else important to know?
We have two other rules. Clean up after yourself, and no cat fights. Other than that, anything goes.
